WHAT TIME SHOULD I Arrive?

The service begins at 10:30 AM, but we invite you to arrive earlier and enjoy some free coffee and refreshments which are made available at 10:00AM. During this time, our congregation finds fellowship with one another. Our welcome team will be happy to answer any questions you have about our church before the service begins.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

“Come as you are” means just that. We have a casual and friendly atmosphere where you are free to wear whatever makes you comfortable.  So come dressed casually or professionally – you won’t be judged either way.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC CAN I EXPECT?

Our worship style is a blend of the old and the new ("ancient-future").  It is both energetic and upbeat with contemporary music, but reverent and theologically rich with traditional hymns. We believe worship is an attitude of the heart, regardless of personal preference for music style.  Our goal is to facilitate the corporate worship of our Triune God. That means that our worship team is not there to put on a show or a performance, but to lead our people before the throne of God to sing his praise together.  The first Sunday of most months will include communion, and the music will be all traditional hymns.

IS THERE SOMETHING FOR MY CHILDREN?

Absolutely!  A family worship space for infants through age 3 is offered throughout the entirety of the service. But all are welcome to participate in praise and worship as a church family at the beginning of the service.  You are welcome to keep children of any age with you for the entire service, however, as we encourage family worship!

WHAT’S THE PREACHING LIKE?

CenterPoint Church focuses on biblical preaching and teaching, usually working through books of the Bible in what is called expository preaching (letting the Bible speak and teach us).  You will hear the Word of God in a way that is easy to understand, yet does not compromise the truth.  To be Gospel-focused and Christ-centered: this is the goal of all preaching at CenterPoint.
